In the early 1900s, József Ziegler operated a legendary wafer bakery on the first floor of the building, and his enterprise became famous far and wide. Since 1883
The Building's History
The buildings around Andrássy Avenue are remarkable both in their monumentality and in their fine details. Commissioned by construction entrepreneur Nándor Hübner, the neo-Renaissance style building with three inner courtyards and one outer courtyard was designed by 1883. Viewing the building from afar, you can see that the two projecting side wings embrace a romantic garden in an arc shape. The courtyard facing the roundabout is protected by a huge genuine wrought iron gate and a beautiful fence.
